Spin, Weave, Cut

If the exhibition presents the finished fragment, the dinner series invites you to the process that made it.

Spin, Weave, and Cut are not metaphors. They are the stages through which fiber becomes thread, thread becomes cloth, and cloth becomes garment.

Each dinner inhabits one of these transformations, hosted in a place intrinsically connected to that stage of making.

Three dinners, three stages, one thread running through all of them.

Each dinner combines food, making, conversation, and place to explore one stage in the life of the Qamīs.
